PR Agency Final Communication Plan

I’m so excited to share my completed senior capstone project! My team had the pleasure to create a PR campaign for Side by Side VA, Inc., a local non-profit serving the queer youth of Richmond. The challenges Side by Side faces include a limited budget which led to a decrease in available services and the need to communicate these changes with their clientele. Our team approached the issue of donor outreach and a weak marketing strategy by suggesting an awareness campaign seeking to expand donor support and community, recruiting more volunteers, counseling, and marketing interns to address both internal and external needs, and executing a consistent and effective social media plan. As the Strategist for my team, I directed the overall awareness campaign and ensured all elements were cohesive and had a purpose while staying consistent with the mission statement and being mindful of the limited budget and staffing.
